Tapping Into Calm: An EFT Exercise to Restore Your Energy
When your system feels overstretched, emotionally, mentally, physically. Sometimes you don’t need more action… you need release. This simple EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) tapping script is designed to help you let go of what’s draining you and gently bring your nervous system back to centre.
You can use this before or after breathwork, after journaling, or anytime you notice yourself feeling depleted or emotionally stuck.
Tapping Sequence (Classic EFT Style)
Start by tapping on the Side of Hand (karate chop point) while repeating the setup statement 2–3 times.
Setup Statement Example:
“Even though I feel tired and overwhelmed, I honour how much I’ve been carrying.”
Then, move through each point below, tapping gently 5–7 times at each one. At every point, repeat one line from the script (aloud ideally). You can go in order or intuitively based on what resonates.
Tapping Points (in order):
Side of hand (outer edge of the palm — karate chop point)
Eyebrow (inner edge, above the nose)
Side of eye (on the bone, outside of the eye)
Under eye (on the bone, directly below the eye)
Under nose (between upper lip and nose)
Chin (between lower lip and chin crease)
Collarbone (just below the collarbone, slightly to the side)
Under arm (about 4 inches below the armpit)
Top of head (centre of the crown)
Tapping Script: Release + Reset
Even though I feel tired and overwhelmed,
I honour how much I’ve been carrying.
Even though I’ve been leaking energy without realising it,
I choose to breathe life back into my system.
I’m allowed to slow down.
I’m allowed to say no.
I’m allowed to rest.
I give myself permission to let go of what’s not mine.
I choose to protect my energy and come back to myself.
My breath brings me home.
My body knows how to reset.
I am safe.
I am steady.
I am enough.
